On This Day in History – 14th October

A Red-footed Falcon was at Tintagel in 1970 and an American Golden Plover stayed for a month at Stithians in 1983. There was a Bridled Tern at St Ives in 1982 (another one of those would be nice!) and a Blackpoll Warbler was at Porthgwarra in 1988. Rustic Buntings were at Land’s End in 1990 and Sennen in 1991 and a Lesser Scaup was found at Drift Reservoir in 2002, staying until 27th October.
