<p><strong><u>Rame Head</u></strong> - <strong>GOLDEN ORIOLE</strong> at Watch Field by water trough briefly this morning</p>
<p><strong><u>Bude </u></strong>- <strong>WOODCHAT SHRIKE</strong> male 1/4 mile north of Duckpool Valley in scrub opposite first disc of radar station at Cleave at 13.50hrs.</p>
<p><strong><u>Penryn</u></strong> - Possible <strong>Honey Buzzard</strong> flew east at 13.00hrs.</p>
<p><strong><u>Drift</u></strong> -<strong> Red Kite</strong> flew over Catchall at 12.30hrs.</p>
<p><strong><u>Hayle Estuary</u></strong> - <strong>Bar-tailed Godwit</strong> (6), <strong>Ruff</strong> (1) and <strong>Whimbrel</strong> (1) on main estuary (Thanks P.Jeggo)</p>
<p><strong><u>Newlyn</u></strong> - <strong>Iceland Gull</strong> (juv) in harbour still</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Little Bitterns were at Sithney in 1964 and Bude in 1958 and a Squacco Heron was at Drift Resrvoir in 1994. A Long-billed Dowitcher was on the Estuary at Hayle in 1970 but by far the best rarity found on this date was the NORTHERN ORIOLE at Bodmin Moor in 1968.
