Hayle Estuary - Red-breasted Merganser (fem) still. Also Common Sandpiper (8) and Whimbrel this afternoon (Thanks D.Jenkins)

Falmouth - Little Tern (2 juvs) along Penryn River this morning. Med Gull again at Swanpool.

Gwithian - Common Tern (10) on beach north of St Gothian Sands NR this morning (Thanks D.Jenkins)

Marazion - Med Gull (6) on beach this morning.

Todays seawatching highlights in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly so far include:

The Lizard (07.30 - 15.00hrs) - Cory’s Shearwater (710+), Great Shearwater (25) and Balearic Shearwater (10) past Lizard Point.

Coverack (2hrs early afternoon) - Cory’s Shearwater (62) past Chynalls Point. Also Balearic Shearwater (4), Manx Shearwater (20), Arctic Skua (3) and Ocean Sunfish (2). (Thanks D.Wood)

St Austell (07.40 - 09.40hrs) - Cory’s Shearwater (6), Arctic Skua, Common Scoter (4) off Gorran Haven (Thanks D.Payne)

Porthhgwarra (05.30 - 16.30hrs) - Cory’s Shearwater (170), Sabine’s Gull, Great Shearwater, Balearic Shearwater (3), Sooty Shearwater, Storm Petrel (6) and Arctic Skua (2) past Gwennap Head.
