Possible HUME’S LEAF WARBLER at Tehidy.
It appears the jury is out on this one. It appears that there are some salient features on the plumage that point to Hume’s but the call is thought by many to be that of Yellow-browed Warbler, although Hume’s do a YB Warbler type call which is the common call in India. Matt Sallis has [...]

Colour-ringed Med Gull update……..an update!
The two colour ringed Med Gulls at Torpoint as mentioned HERE in a previous post by Chris Buckland have been identified as both being ringed originally as nestlings in Belgium in 2002. Bird 36P was ringed on 4th June and bird 39W on 26th May 2002. Apparently these two birds are regularly seen at Devils Point, [...]
