On This Day in History - 28th October

A fairly quiet day today with the best bird being Little Shearwater off St Ives Island in 1967. A Red-rumped Swallow was at Rame Head in 1987 and a Red-throated Pipit was at Treen in 1990. Elsewhere, a Rose-coloured Starling was on The Lizard in 1985.

A Glossy Ibis travelled between Hayle and Marazion in 1975 and a Rose-coloured Starling at Illogan (brave bird!) in 1989 managed to survive to March 1990!
